Ever Notice How We Deify Recently-Deceased Celebraties??

Anna Nicole, for example..suddenly all we could say was good things about her. Or Tammy Faye. People who would normally roll their eyes at her name seemed to go into hiding. Every time someone of high status dies--an actor, ex-president, whoever--we suddenly forget whatever their faults were and put on our rose-colored gles. Do we do this to avoid bad luck? Do we fear "the fates"? It makes for great media coverage, of course...the only recent exception to this is the Benoit case, for obvious reasons. Go ahead, call me judgemental...just trying to figure out how people work!!
