I am a U.S. Soldier. I am married to a woman from Sri Lanka. How long should it take to get her citizenship?

I have hears being in the u.s. military that its faster than a regular citizen. How long should it take my wife to get her citizenship? I have heard 6 months to over two years. What is the proper answer?
