1,200$ loan and co signer has an ok credit may be near bad?

i got a 1,200 loan from the bank for a computer but they said i need a cosigner and my moms the only one i can think of and she said she may not have good credit, are the chances of her pin slim? or since its only 1200 do i have a better chance at her being approved?
