How to become a paramedic?

I agree with the last poster! I don't understand why in the world you would think it's less gory! You are out of your mind! I'm in college now for phlebotomy and my Med. Term. Instructor used to be an EMT and RN and she told us about some of the very HORRIFIC scenes! She couldn't sleep for months when she first started! You would be amazed at some of the crazy stuff people do to themselves, their gf's, bf's, husband's, wive's, and their CHILDREN! So, if I were you, I'd do a little more research before you just jump into it. You may change your mind, and if you don't, God Bless You!
